Water treatment for new ThyssenKrupp headquarters

200x200-images-stories-thyssenkrupp_p_705The headquarters of the ThyssenKrupp group is moving Düsseldorf to Essen this year. Near the city center an innovative new building complex will become the new control centre of the company. Environmental protection and sustainability have been the foundation of the whole planning. Because of that the whole building has no need for an air conditioning for example.

The outer area is dominated by two water pools with approx. 7000 m² water surface. The WWT has received the task to treat the water with an innovative treatment concept. Mostly the cost reduction in operation, but also the environmental and security aspects had finally convinced the deciders.

After finishing of the installation the plant will start operating in July and will ensure the water pools will always leave neat and attractive impression on the visitors.
