Ziel des Vereines ist es, den Schutz von Anlagen, Komponenten und Rohrleitungen vor Korrosionen zu optimieren. In einem innovativen Umfeld können Forschungsergebnisse direkt in Produktverbesserungen einfliessen. Unsere eigenen Produkte und Verfahren werden so ständig verbessert und der aktuelle Stande der Technik wird festgestellt.

Die Saarstahl AG betreibt eine automatische Beize für Drahtcoils. In unterscheidlichen Prozessschritten wird das Draht-Material in Coils von bis zu 2 to Gesamtgewicht auf die weitere Verarbeitung vorbereitet. Dazu gehören die Prozessschritte Spülen, Beizen, Passivieren und Beschichten. Die WWT hat den Auftrag zur Modernisierung  der Abwasseranlage der Beizstrasse erhalten und erfolgreich durchgeführt. Im Rahmen des Projektes wurde die komplette MSR-Technik, Pumpentechnik und einige weitere Komponenten erneuert. Der gesamte Prozess wurde hinsichtlich Wasserverbrauch und Neutralisationsmittelaufwand untersucht und erheblich optimiert.

Die Anlage mit einer Leistung von ca. 10 m³/h aus den 1970er Jahren wird nunmehr vollautomatisch mit minimalem Personalaufwand betrieben. Auf die erhebliche Investition in eine komplette Neuanlage konnte verzichtet werden. Wichtige Komponenten wie Schrägklärer oder Kammerfilterpresse wurden erhalten.

- Erneuerung der pH- und Durchflussmessungen
- Erneuerung der Pumpen für saure und alkalische Abwässer sowie gereinigtes Abwasser und der Beschickungspumpe für die Kammerfilterpresse
- Austausch defekter Leitungen und Ventile
- Auswahl und Anpassung des Flockmittelprozesses, Flockmittelansetzstation vollautomatisch mittels Flüsssigpolymer der WeClear Serie

Like in recent years we started training a new mechatronics technician. Mr. Timo Jeziorny had already begun a training to become a mechatronics technician when the company he was wokring for had to file for insolvency. Through qickly integrating into our company we made it possible for him to continue his training in his second academic year.

For the first time in Weidner history we also have an annual intern. Mr. Marco Magga is making his entrance qualification to become a mechatronics technician.

Weidner Wassertechnik delivers the water treatment products for the last steam engine in the German mining industry.

Since 1936 it has been in operation, the steam of the mine Ensdorf. It is the only operating machine in the German coal mining industry today and the company Weidner ensures with its water products that it will stay that way in the next few years.

The headquarters of the ThyssenKrupp group is moving Düsseldorf to Essen this year. Near the city center an innovative new building complex will become the new control centre of the company. Environmental protection and sustainability have been the foundation of the whole planning. Because of that the whole building has no need for an air conditioning for example.

After finishing of the installation the plant will start operating in July and will ensure the water pools will always leave neat and attractive impression on the visitors.
